Companion Animals

Routine Medical Care - Yearly physical examinations are one of the best ways to keep your pet healthy and detect problems early. We provide pediatric exams for the little guys and geriatric exams for our seniors. We also check teeth, range of motion and skin conditions among other things to ensure your pet is in good health.

Vaccinations - Prevention of disease is vital to a healthy pet. Cats and dogs are protected against important infectious viral and bacterial diseases.

Internal Medicine - We have the expertise to assess your pet's condition, diagnose the disease or illness and provide appropriate treatment.

Laboratory Testing - We have the ability to test for a wide range of things either in our in-house lab or by sending to an outside lab for further analysis. These tests include:

   - Intestinal worm checks
   - Heartworm blood test
   - Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus Screening
   - Complete blood counts
   - Screening organ function tests for liver, kidney, pancreas, blood sugar, etc.
   - Urinalysis testing
   - Cytology of ears, vaginal smears
   - Parvo test
   - Canine Brucellosis testing

Diagnostic Tools - During your visit, we can take x-rays if necessary and see the results while you wait. We can also conduct an ultrasound if needed. Our state-of-the-art monitoring system (Surgi-Vet) will be utilized for every surgery, or any time more precise information is needed. The system provides information on blood pressure, EKG, pulse oximetry, end tidal CO2, and temperature.

Surgical Care - A wide range of surgical procedures can be performed. An example of some of the procedures performed are:

   - Spays
   - Neuters
   - Declaw
   - Dental - scaling, polishing, extraction of diseased teeth
   - Tumor Removal
   - Exploratory
   - Orthopedic

Identification Services - We provide Home Again microchips. By registering your pet, you will increase the chances of a lost pet being found.

Farm Animals

Horses

Vaccinations - for eastern and western encephalitis, tetanus, rhinopneumonitis, influenza, rabies, west nile virus, and strangles are advised on an annual basis.

Laboratory testing - for equine infectious anemia (coggins) and metabolic diseases are routinely performed

Dentistry - The need for filing of equine cheek teeth to maintain better chewing and nutrition should be performed routinely.

Lameness exams - performed as needed

X-Rays - performed as needed with our portable radiography machine.

Surgeries - castrations and wound repair

Emergency service - as needed for currently established clients

Ruminants

Emergency services for established clients for calvings, prolapses, milk fever, etc.

Vaccinations and other herd health needs
